Oreo S'mores Have Hit The Shelves

And color me unimpressed!  First off is the name.  Oreos.  S'mores.  SMOREOS.  How does your advertising department not see that?!

Now for the cookie.  The cookie itself is a new flavor, as opposed to the long-standing chocolate, golden, and more recently, the red velvet.  And I'll give them credit, it works.  This one actually has some flavor and texture to it unlike the red velvet, which was more coloring than anything else.
The creme was more disappointing than my prom night.  It looks good, like you're going to get the best of both worlds, and then it fizzes out before any really flavor is established.
If you notice the cookie*, there's two cremes there.  In previous efforts Oreo only one used one creme and colored it differently on the left and right side.  With this one, it looks like Oreo pressed together two different cremes.  Good idea, poor execution.  There wasn't enough of either creme to really define the flavor.  It wasn't a pure sugar flavor like a lot of Oreos are, but it wasn't enough to convince me it was really marshmallow and chocolate flavored.
Also, I tried numerous times and failed to separate the cremes.  They did a really good job of pressing them together.  I went through like six cookies before finally admitting defeat on that one.
And if you look at the packaging, it's their smaller sized box.  I counted them and guess what?  It was 21 cookies.  TWENTY FRICKIN ONE.  You think a doughy blogger testing out a new flavor is going to stop at 21?  Give me a full fucking package.  Or at least don't charge me full package price and deliver half the goods.  3/10, but looking forward to them reusing the graham cracker cookie.

*Finally figured out to take HD pics on my phone which is cool considering I've been doing this for longer than I care to remember.
