So lately I've been going to Quick Chek a lot. It's convenient, and well, that's pretty much it. I don't blog to put a lot of effort into it. I recently made a trip to Wawa and had to take in the local culture. Turns out Wawa makes their own baked goods similar to Quick Chek so I gave a brownie a shot.
Was this the best brownie ever? No, but it was pretty damn good. Based on the average quality of Quick Chek's other baked goods I think their brownie is an anomaly in the sense that it's so high quality. But Wawa's brownie is a formidable contender. It was definitely higher quality than the other baked goods Quick Chek offers.
The Quick Chek brownie has a bit more of a flaky top and is baked in a sheet with several brownies cut out. The Wawa brownie was denser and baked in an individual tray, so all four sides were brownie edges. I know some people mess their pants at the idea of brownie edges. Don't get me wrong, I like them, but you're a psycho if you always want an edge. Add a little variety to your life. 7/10
