Oreo Subscriptions Are For Nerds and Poors

As pointed out to me by my good friend RJ (congrats on the honeymoon), Oreo and Amazon are teaming up for a monthly delivery service. Let’s break down the basics of it.

$19.99 per month. It also includes “two Oreo flavors, a one-of-a-kind Oreo inspired gift, and recipe card, all in an artistically designed Oreo gifting box. Each month you’ll enjoy new Oreo product innovations, or tried and true favorites.”

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?!
- “Two Oreo flavors” Whoop-de-frickin-doo. Shop Rite runs 2 /$5 specials.  I better be getting a nice big package for $20 a month.  I could get four times the two boxes they offer for the same price. That also means making one box last over two weeks. I can barely make a box last two days. That’s like constantly filling your car with half a tank of gas. NEXT!
- “A one-of-a-kind Oreo inspired gift” So… Oreo socks? I’m not buying a monthly subscription for cookies because I’m a brand ambassador; I’m buying it because I’m ashamed to be seen in public with the amount of cookies I buy at one time.
- “Recipe card” Here you go. That’s a gift from me to you that you don’t have to wait a month to buy for $19.99.
- “All in an artistically designed Oreo gifting box” Well now you’re talking my language! Call up Martha Stewart and have her bake you an Oreo cake and then turn these bougie boxes into a nice cookie jar! It’s a good thing.

Take a look at the January box:
Fun fact, I have those two flavors on deck to be blogged.  They were $5.  Oreo hot cocoa packs go for $25 for 32 packs on Amazon.  Meaning 2 packs comes in at less than $2.  Recipe cards go for free on Google.  Or just mixing shit in a bowl like the pioneers did.  I suggest saving your extra $10 a month and spending it on more Oreos because you're the kind of person who needs extra comfort food in their life.
