Let’s call a spade a spade here and say these are Nutella Oreos. Chocolate hazelnut is Nutella. Xerox, Kleenex, Frisbee. They’re all in the same category of no one caring what the real product name is.
And on top of that, it’s pretty much cheating to slap Nutella on a product. Of course I’m going to eat it. Nutella is delicious. Nutella themselves sell snack packs with Nutella and fucking breadsticks. Who enjoys breadsticks for a snack? Well it turns out everyone does if you put enough Nutella on them.
Did Oreo find a gem here? They’ve been slacking lately. But it’s hard to say if they really hit this one out of the park. They added something universally loved and made it limited edition. I could pay full price for a 2/3 box of Nutella Oreos or the same price for a regular box of chocolate Oreos. They’re cost prohibitive. I don’t eat Oreos to savor them. Just give me a big box of a decent flavor and we’re set. For that reason, I give Nutella Oreos 7/10.
