ShopRite Mini Cakes

I'm a big fan of ShopRite's bakery.  They put out some solid products at reasonable prices.  If you're willing to make a trip to the store you can find high quality baked goods for not much more money than a candy bar.

Right off the bat:  THE ICE CREAM CONE IS PLASTIC.  I wish I had that warning when I first bit in.  My tongue remained mostly unscathed but my emotional security took a big hit that day.  Who puts a plastic ice cream cone on a brownie?  That's just bizarre.
The cake was good.  Not the moistest ShopRite product I've had but still above average.  Plenty of frosting, which is always a nice bonus.  The cake wasn't anything out of the ordinary but still very good quality.
Look at the height of that mini cake!  That's a lot of frosting and cake.  The label says 4oz for $1.69.  Your average candy bar is about 1.75oz and goes for $1.25.  You tell me which one is the better deal.  9/10.

PS- I wrote this one at 1am and I actually got hungry writing this.  Why did I mention that?  I don't know, maybe I like being transparent with my readers.  It's what makes us stronger as a community.
