I had to go food shopping the other day and looked in the Oreo aisle. Nada. I go the dairy aisle and there's the fucking new Oreos (side not, they just released Lemon Twist Oreos too). I get putting Oreos and milk together but why ONLY the new Oreos? And why by the butter instead of milk?
Whatever. Buy the Oreos. Of course they're in a 2/3 size packaging, why would I want the same amount of cookies across all flavor lines? Same deal with the Lemon Twist. How fucking hard is it to give me the same size box as regular Oreos? You're not winning me over with low volume. Part of Oreo's charm is that you get plenty of cookies. If I wanted less cookies I'd spend an extra dollar and get a higher end brand.
How they taste- well they're definitely chocolate, a lot of times they just taste like sugar. They do taste like brownie batter, despite what People Mag says, but it's not necessarily a good thing. They have that raw egg taste that you know leads to an upset stomach. The cookies also have a really strong smell to them. When they reach about chin level you can smell the chocolate flavoring.
Also if you look at the creme in the middle it looks like they put two types of creme in the middle. There's a line going around the creme. I'm not sure how well it shows up on screen. But I tried peeling the creme from the middle and licking both sides of it to see if there's a difference and I didn't taste one. The taste is almost too intense, like it needs to be watered down. 5/10
PS- I did that thing People Mag recommended where you leave a cookie in your mouth for 30 seconds and don't chew. Literally all it did was make my cookie soggy. I'm man enough to admit when I get trolled.
