The limited-edition M&Ms were first spotted on store shelves on Tuesday.
An M&Ms representative confirmed to People Magazine the product has been sent to Walmart stores and other retail locations for display during the “Halloween timeframe.” Many stores have already started displaying Halloween merchandise.
The 9.9 oz. bags have a suggested retail price of $2.98.
No. No. What? No. Who in Lemmy's green Earth actually goes out of their way for pecan pie? This is their big fall seasonal product. Could they not figure out how to make M&Ms with pumpkin flavor?
Think about that for a minute. White girls LOVE pumpkin flavored anything. White girls LOVE posting Instagram pictures of whatever they're eating. White girls LOVE complaining about calories. You know what the most elusive demographic ever is? Every white girl everywhere. Disposable income out the wazoo. Between their own money and every confused dumb guy they're dating who's desperate for approval and/ or sex, that's a big CHA-CHING! It's a marketing plan that basically writes itself. I'm even drinking Sam Adam's pumpkin beer right now (it's alright, nothing spectacular). But noooo, instead let's go for pecan pie.
I still can't wrap my head around this. I don't think I've even been offered pecan pie since like middle school. I'm not sure if I would be able to tell if these taste like the real thing. And since they put such a giant dollop of whipped cream on the pie slice, I expect a whipped cream flavor M&M. That would be delicious.
PS- Sneaky move throwing Green M&M on the bag. Everyone knows sex sells. Green M&Ms were like Viagra in the 7th grade. That's what I was told, at least.
