I was skeptical buying this. Great American Cookies? Selling brownies? Something's fishy here and I'm getting to the bottom of it.
First impression: this is a massive brownie. It's pretty tall and fairly heavy. Even for a connoisseur like myself, one brownie would be plenty.
These are all baked on premises, I believe. I saw a few trays of prebaked cookies and brownies. That means these are all fresh. Fresh is always better, just ask TastyKakes why their year old cakes are trash. This really shows in the brownie. Sometimes brownies can get a bit stiff after a few hours but this one was soft and moist even after I got home with it.
Some Reese's peanut butter branded products don't really taste like Reese's. I'm not really sure if this one used Reese's peanut butter and/ or chocolate, but the end result was delicious. It had a rich chocolate taste with strong peanut butter overtones. I'm very willing to overlook if they just used the name to sell a product (hint: it worked). Big brownie, great taste, fresh- very easy 10/10.
