Chex Mix Muddy Buddies

     A few weeks ago my buddy Dan (a recurring character in my blog at this point) wanted me to try these out.  So I did and now here we are blogging about them.  I guess that anecdote sounded better in my head,
     I'm all for innovation in snacks.  Sure I love brownies, but the same thing over and over is uninspiring.  With that in mind, Muddy Buddies are something fresh and new (to me at least, but I'm not very cultured so that take that as you will).  Chex cereal with cookies and cream powder is an interesting idea.
     Are these the best snacks you'll ever have?  No.  But they're pretty good.  One of the points of note is the size of the bag.  Everyone knows I'm all about value when buying snacks.  They're also borderline addictive.  I ate about 3/4 of the bag saying "They're only alright" until I realized they were almost all gone.  I think they took a page out of Coca-Cola's playbook and put crack in their recipe.

     I think the whole idea behind them is Chex cereal with cookies and cream flavoring.  The Chex mix has a fairly strong corn-based cereal taste.  The cookies and cream flavor is in powder form which means your fingers will be messy afterwards.  Not Cheeto level messy but still enough to be a slight inconvenience.  7/10.
