Shop Rite Brownie Cup

     After trying out the cupcake from Twin Donuts Plus I decided to give Shop Rite's option a shot.  They had a whole display of red, white, and blue products sitting on a display right by the entrance.  That did the trick for me.  In the marketing world we call that a POP display, for those of you not in the know.

     Most importantly: the red star was plastic.  I did not know that.  I probably should have so I take responsibility on that one.  Fortunately I noticed before I bit into it.  But don't let that take away from the brownie cup.  This thing was amazing.  It was rich, moist, flavorful, the works.  The frosting was fantastic too.  Just enough for you to say "wow they put a lot on here" without saying "there's too much frosting on here."

     This brownie cup totally blew away the Twin Donut Plus cupcake.  Same size and concept but fresher tasting (and a dollar cheaper).  It's never a good look to have something mass produced be a better product.  Keep that in mind next time you're at 219th St and Broadway.  Look for a Shop Rite instead.  9/10
