While I was away my parents bought a cake under the guise of a Mother's Day cake. Being the trusting son that I am, I believed them. I was pretty pumped to have a Mother's Day AND a birthday cake in the house. So I might have been hoodwinked but I still have cake, and I can eat it too.

Birthday Cake Part 3: 2016 Edition
Another birthday, another cake. This year I celebrated my birthday weekend by playing a tournament in about 2 inches of mud. Was it fun? Yes. And I plan on never going back. But I digress.

The cake is from Mills Bakery, down the corner and with a big glass window for me to ogle the baked goods. It looks like a simple enough cake. Chocolate with white frosting. That's always a classic option. The chocolate frosting on top is a nice touch. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! They put Oreos on the cake! The only comparison I can make here is like what Mr. Reese felt like when he someone got peanut butter on his chocolate. From now on I have decided that all cakes without Oreos on top are for poor people. 10/10.
