I used to work at a summer camp and these things were basically like cigarettes in prison. The commodity to end all commodities. But like cigarettes I am not addicted to them (yeah I'm pretty healthy, don't let the blog fool you).
It was a little warm out during my last trip to QuikChek so I decided why not try an ice cream snack? I'm not the biggest ice cream guy but for the sake of the blog I can give it a shot. Choco Tacos are the cool taco, let's go for it.
Alright so far it looks like a taco with chocolate. No misbranding here. But while I'm eating it the thing is melting into my hand. It was like 5 minutes removed from being in a freezer. That's just too quick man, you gotta maintain your structural integrity longer than that. I can't be licking my hand clean every time I eat one of these.
Upon further inspection of eating the Choco Taco I came to the conclusion that said taco is actually a waffle. First hint: it has a waffle pattern on it. Tacos don't do that. That's cultural appropriation and Klondike doesn't put up with that. Plus, waffles are soft and tacos are hard. I expected a crunch when I bit in. Instead my waffle gave way to my teeth and I had to rip my bite off.
That being said, it was still a good snack. But nothing to get your knickers in a twist over. 6/10
