Twin Donut Plus Bakery Review

A few weeks ago I attended a rugby clinic at Columbia University hosted by Bath/ Springboks flanker Francois Louw.  That's not a brag, just saying my knowledge of the sport is like 7 points higher now.  Naturally that means I had to stop at the donut shop around the corner.

Twin Donut Plus looks like a half Dunkin Donuts/ half deli.  I didn't sample the deli.  That's not the point of the blog.  And just because I'm an asshole I didn't have a donut either.  I saw a rather large and tasty looking chocolate peanut butter cupcake.  Excuse the blurry pictures, my buddy RJ isn't very good at navigating potholes.  Fortunately I managed to avoid getting any frosting up my nose.
This cupcake was pretty dry.  Even the frosting wasn't as moist as you'd expect.  Granted, I bought this thing at like 10pm.  But if they're baked fresh in the morning I don't think they should have been so dry in the span of 18 hours.  It may have been a day old.  I was under the impression my cupcake would be freshly baked.  That's a pretty big knock off the points considering it was only alright to begin with.  6/10.
