(Nice picture asshole. Learn how to use the focus)
Thanks to my buddy Dan for contributing to the blog and hooking me up with this cookie. I bailed on practice early to watch the Patriots game/ not re-break my nose during live tackling so I didn't get to pick this cookie up at the end of the night. Dan selflessly resisted temptation and didn't eat the cookie just for the sake of the blog. The name just kinda rolls off the tongue. I think 7-11 needs to lose a point for excessive nomenclature but I'm not sure which part of it was supposed to be unnecessary. Gonna have to break this down:
Peanut butter chocolate chip cookie- Alright here we go. Peanut butter cookie that has chocolate chips in it.
Made with Reese's peanut butter cups and milk chocolate chips- There's no peanut butter cup chunks in here. Did they use Reese's brand peanut butter and chocolate chips? I think that's what they were trying to say. I have to deduct a point for misleading the consumer.
If you didn't believe me about it sitting in his truck for a week look at the expiration date. The Patriots Thursday night game was September 22. The expiration date says Saturday, September 24. The next Tuesday was September 27. Did I eat expired food, thus risking my health and well being, just to blog for you, the people? Yes. Yes I did.
It was a pretty good cookie. Strong peanut butter flavor with some chocolate chips in the mix. It probably would have been a bit softer if it was fresh. So despite the ridiculously long name it's basically a peanut butter cookie with a few chocolate chips thrown in the mix. 6/10.
