You may notice that this is in a single packet. Could I have possibly gotten a sponsor?
The answer is no. I got a free sample in a recent order for more protein powder. But it's birthday cake flavored which leads me to suspect someone at bodybuilding.com knows who I am.
I contemplated mixing this with water or milk. I decided it wouldn't be fair to mix it in water since A) I always use milk and water would alter the test setting and B) protein powder in water tastes like balls no matter what flavor it is. It didn't seem fair to not use milk. I did, however, use my usual 8oz when the packet recommended 6oz. Maybe I'm a rebel, maybe I wasn't paying attention.
Right off the bat I was suspicious because any protein powder that isn't chocolate or vanilla, I assume is garbage. I was mistaken with the Dymatize, but less than you think. It's got a strong vanilla taste to it. That's not a bad thing. I'm sure the exact science of birthday cake flavor isn't a priority for them, but it was a little sweeter tasting than typical vanilla flavors. I did feel a little bloating afterwards, but that always happens with protein powder so I won't detract points. I give it an 8/10 for taste. I would grade it's healthiness but I have no way of doing that. This thing could be laced with cyanide for all I know.
PS- I'm going to schedule this to go on Facebook, instead of posting it whenever I feel like (like I have been for 2 years). It's a big day for me. 50/50 odds that it somehow gets messed up because I am the living embodiment of Murphy's Law.
You suck a bag of dicks :)
