Recently I made a trip down to the local CVS. Since Halloween season just ended all the Halloween candy was half off. Well now my 5 minute trip turned into 20 minutes and a lot of candy bags.
I had high hopes. Caramel, apples, and chocolate are all good things. What did I forget? Artificial apple is hot garbage.
Silver lining- they're shaped like apples! And yes they taste like apples, but the plastic kind that you see decorating offices. Which is a shame because they really did a top notch job of making an apple mold for the little chocolates.
See they even put little leaves on the wrapper so you'll know it's for the fall season! Or maybe it's for when you buy them half off in July and realize they're very expired.
If I make backtrack from my stream of consciousness, the artificial apple flavor is doubly bad since the caramel and chocolate were pretty on point. Obviously they're not high quality since the whole bag probably cost 30 cents to produce, but irregardless. The apple flavor killed an otherwise satisfying candy. 4/10
