Second Annual Thanksgiving Review

Spoiler alert: My blog managed to survive for a year.

I know this blog is a day late. I was being an American and throwing some elbows down at the WallyMart store on Black Friday, so I didn't have time to post this. In the words of Lewis Black, "Trample someone at the store any other day of the year and you get arrested. Trample someone at the store today and you get a PlayStation 4!"
There were four desserts this year.  Naturally I filled up on biscuits because I'm a classy guy, but I still managed to find room for dessert.

First up: My cousin Kayte made some sort of pumpkin cookie-brownie with chocolate chips.  I'm not sure what sorcery she pulled with this one, but it was delicious.  I was a little suspicious because she didn't eat any.  I've seen enough spy movies to know that if you turn down a drink, you know it's poisoned.  With that in mind, I ate four of them.  10/10

Next we have a chocolate pie.  It looks a little blue because I guess sprinkles are supposed to go on after you bake them?  I didn't make it, I'm not sure how science works, it's a bad mix for me but I still ate it.  9/10 for being a little discolored.

Pumpkin pie.  I ate so many goddamn pumpkin flavored snacks this fall.  I still have more to blog about.  But unlike the other 'fall colored' snacks I tried, this one actually lived up to the hype.  9/10.

Rounding out the line-up is Spindler's Bakery in Hasbrouck Heights.  I heard they closed their storefront so now you can only get their cookies through a third party.  I use ShopRite, and usually manage to find myself a little something extra to hold me over until the cookies get started.  Look at those colors!  They also taste pretty damn good. 8/10.
